Sculpture by the Sea

This event transforms the spectacular Bondi Beach coastal walk into a 2km long sculpture park along the coast. As one of Sydney’s most popular and revered events, this festival is a must-visit. This event is free for the public and offers a self-guided sculpture tour of the over 100 sculptures doting the coastline throughout the walk. Sculpture by the Sea takes place at the end of October and runs throughout November at Bondi Beach. The Spring Cycle features a takeover of the Sydney Harbor Bridge for a traffic-free ride around the Rocks and goes to Sydney Olympic Park.

There are plenty of stations around to rent a bike as well if needed and you can ride around the illuminated loop and after, enjoy food at the many food trucks waiting to fill your belly.

Festival of the Winds is a kite lover’s paradise. Taking place on Bondi Beach, this annual event is one of the world’s largest kite festivals. Festival of the Winds features activities and entertainment for all age groups, such as aerial shows, a circus zone, kite making workshops for all age groups and skill levels, many food and beverage stalls, a puppet theater for kids and an array of talented musicians and entertainers showing their skills on the main stage as well.
